สวนดุสิตโพล มหาวิทยาลัยสวนดุสิต ดำเนินงานด้านการสำรวจความคิดเห็นสาธารณะโดยยึดถือหลักเกณฑ์ตามมาตรฐานสากล ทั้งในด้านความโปร่งใส ความถูกต้อง และจริยธรรมการวิจัย โดยเป็นสมาชิกของสมาคมการวิจัยความคิดเห็นสาธารณะโลก (World Association for Public Opinion Research: WAPOR) องค์กรวิชาชีพระดับนานาชาติที่กำหนดแนวทางและมาตรฐานด้านการสำรวจความคิดเห็น เพื่อรับรองความน่าเชื่อถือของข้อมูลที่เผยแพร่ต่อสาธารณะ
